A group of university students or recently graduated youths from universities in Hong Kong visited Peace Sprit Foundation office on Saturday.
At the beginning of the meeting, President of the foundation Hamid Reza Gholamzadeh elaborated on activities and mission of the NGO and how its activities are planned to promote peace and reduce conflict.

He explained that how the previous experience of the members in activates for domestic issues of Iran, which addressed topics such as women’s rights, drug abuse prevention and rehabilitation, and entrepreneurship, have formed the base of new activities; “Peace Sprit Foundation is now trying to be a bridge connecting Iranian NGOs with foreign NGOs to share and exchange experiences and activities,” he said and continued that “Iranian activists have a significant background in areas like women, drug abuse and trafficking control, media and entrepreneurship which can be shared with other activists abroad to empower their NGOs to address problems in their countries, especially countries neighbor to Iran.”
According to him, the main idea behind activities of foundation is that if nations know each other better, misunderstanding will be prevented and chances for conflicts will reduce sharply. As such, an upcoming event by P.S.F. is to hold summer courses for students learning Persian language in European universities to visit Iran for a couple of weeks to gain a first-hand acquaintance from the Iranian culture.
The visiting students also introduced their area of activity and studies and shared their ideas about social and cultural subjects and asked their questions about social life in Iran. After the session students took picture with the members of the foundation.
