In the fourth meeting of Peace Sprit Foundation: “hatred of violence; a common point of the Egyptian and Iranian people”
The fourth meeting of the series of the meetings “Acquaintance with Nations” was held on Monday July 10 in the Peace Sprit Foundation.
At the meeting, focused on knowing Egypt, Ahmed, an Egyptian student at Tehran University of Medical Sciences talked about the cultural and intellectual characteristics of Egyptians. He outlined Iran’s face in the world especially among Egyptian people. He also emphasized that during the years living in Iran, he found out a clear contradiction between what is narrated from Iran in the world and the reality he has faced in Iran. He then elaborated on the political development in Egypt in the past decade and talked about living conditions after recent developments. Mentioning Egyptian’s ethnic and cultural characteristics, Ahmed explained that his people are very hospitable and respect guests in an honest tradition.

‘Knowing the Nations’ is a series of meetings in Peace Sprit Foundation office aimed at bringing nations closer to each other by letting them know each other’s culture and people. Foreign citizens and regional experts and activists are invited to the program to discuss the most significant social and cultural issues.
