Basti Gutmann, German cyclist who is pedaling across the world with message of peace and environmental protection, planted an olive sapling in Tehran’s Pardisan Park on Wednesday, August 30.

The environment activist and nature lover has been hosted by Peace Sprit Foundation in Iranian capital and visited city’s tourist attractions during his stay.

 

 

In a program organized by the Foundation ahead of National Cheetah Day in Iran, which is commemorated on August 31, Gutmann paid a visit to the. of two Cheetahs in Pardisan Park and planted an olive sapling to announce his support for the Cheetahs.

 

 

Iran’s untouched nature is home to different species of animals and plants, which attracts many tourists fond of nature and environment from across the glob annually.
