The 69th Frankfurt Book Fair is hosting delegations from 110 countries from across the world including Islamic Republic of Iran.

World’s largest event of publishing industry kicked off on Wednesday, October 11, with participation of over 100 publishers in Frankfurt of Germany.

The event provides annually a platform for sale, purchase and introducing the books in international level and is attended by crowds of visitors who are looking for the best of publication industry.

Iran has been a participant of Frankfurt Book Fair for 20 years and since 2014 it organizes a national pavilion for the event. This year pavilion is experiencing an active participation by prominent organizations of Iran’s publishing industry including Teharn Publishers Union, Association of Holy Defense Publishers, Assembly of Islamic Revolution Publishers, Cultural Association of Female Publishers and the Cultural Association of University Publishers.

 

 

Introducing Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF), which is held annually on May, is on agenda of the Iran’s pavilion to invite audiences and special guests for the event. The pavilion also would offer grants to Iranian and foreign publishers who introduce Iran’s publication industry and Iranian books.

Frankfurt Book Fair, as one of the most famous and credited book exhibitions in the world, is underway from11 to 15 October in German city.
