Summer Course for Farsi learners
We at the Peace Sprit Foundation believe that peace can be achieved through raising understanding between different people and nations; and this cannot be achieved unless we promote more communication and exchanges between people and people, instead of waiting for governments to take measures.
So, we are holding a series of short summer courses on Farsi Language to help university students studying Persian language to visit Iran and engage in real life, participate in workshops and improve their command of Farsi through various programs. Other programs include meeting with prominent poets, writers and other Farsi Language students in Iran, visiting museums, ancient houses, cultural centers, newspaper and news agencies, etc. for a weak. Then We will travel to some cities in Iran for 3 days to indulge in Iranian culture and enjoy different dialects of Farsi Language. The students can also have the chance to spend a day experiencing working in a job position selected from among a number of choices.
We invite Farsi Language students from all over Europe to participate in this program which is held on a rolling basis through the summer beginning in August:
- First group: 1 August
- Second group: 15 August
- Third group: 9 September

Benefits
The selected participants will be based in Tehran and besides the main goal of learning Farsi firsthand will enjoy learning Iranian culture more. All accommodation costs, meals and domestic travels inside Iran are covered by Peace Sprit Foundation; however, applicants are asked to pay 15o Euros.
Eligibilities
The ideal candidate will be:
– 20-25 years old.
– a national of one of European countries.
– Current student of Farsi Language in a European university or has been graduated not more than a year ago.
– In group courses above 4 students, a policy of gender equality would be considered in number of male and female applicants.

Applicants are requested to provide a letter of introduction from their university to show they are currently student of Persian language or have been graduate not more than a year ago.
In order to have applicants with similar level of fluency in Persian language, an online interview through Skype will be organized as well.
