The 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit the border region between Iran and Iraq claiming lives of more than 350 people and injuring at least 4000. Rescue operations are underway in both countries while Iran has announced three days of mourning.

Peace Sprit Foundation offers cordial condolences to victims of the quake and expresses sympathy with Iranian and Iraqi families who have been affected by the disaster.

PSF has also received condolence messages from Russia, Turkey and South Korea who expressed sympathy with Iranian nation and expressed readiness for delivering aid.
